Description:
Not as popular as the 'French' variety but is available slightly earlier in the garden centres. Smooth green needle like leaves on a more woodier plant than the 'French' variety with a milder flavour. Used to flavour sauces, oils and fish, chicken and egg dishes. Is said to have been used to relieve headaches, digestive problems and insomnia.
Harvest:
Once roughly 15cm tall, through the summer months.
