Patio Vegetables

PATIO RANGE

All varieties chosen for their suitability to be grown in pots on the Patio.
PATIO AUBERGINE – ‘BABY BELLE’ – Plant April to May. Dont leave outside if there is a risk of frost. Dwarf plants to approx 30cm height with lots of small jet black fruit
PATIO BABY LEAF – Plant March / October. All our 20 varieties with different flavours and colours can be grown on a patio. Please see ''Field Vegetables'' for different varieties.
PATIO HERBS – CORIANDER, PARSLEY, CHIVES, DILL, CHERVIL ECT. Can all be grown on a patio. Please see our ‘Herb List' for more details.
PATIO CHILLI – ‘APACHE’
Plant 15th March to 23rd June. Dont leave outside if there is a chance of frost. Dwarf habit, excellent yields of 7cm pointed fruit all summer long.
PATIO SWEET PEPPER - ‘RED SKIN’ – Plant 15th March to 23rd June. Dont leave outside if there is a chance of frost. True dwarf red pepper, very early fruiting with excellent yields.
PATIO SWEET PEPPER - 'MOWHAWK' - Plant 15th March /to23rd June. Dont leave outside if there is a chance of frost. Sweet flavour dwarf habit with orange fruit.
PATIO LETTUCE - We have 15 different varieties of lettuce which can all be grown out on your patio. Please see 'Field Vegetables' for more details about them all.
PATIO MANGETOUT - OREGON SUGAR POD - Plant outside Mid-March until Mid-June. Traditionally the whole pod must be harvested before peas and string develop. Produces medium long flat pods.
PATIO RUNNER BEANS – ‘HESTIA’
Plant 30th March to 30th June. Dont leave outside if there is a chance of frost. A dwarf runner bean, with red and white bi-colour flowers, heavy yields.

Tomatos

Plant 1st March to 30th June. Minimum 5 C but need 12 C for growth. Harvest approximately eight weeks after planting.

PATIO TOMATO – ‘TOTEM’ F1
Dwarf variety, ideal for growing in tubs and pots.
PATIO TOMATO - TUMBLER F1 – For tubs and baskets, bush habit, branching and compact.
PATIO TOMATO TUMBLING YELLOW - Cascading, high productive variety for basket and container work. Sweet flavoured yellow cherry fruits
PATIO PEAS – Plant 30th March to 3rd August. Main crop, produces high yields of well-filled pods.
PATIO GREEN BEANS – Plant 30th March to 30th June. Long String-less, extra fine round pods. High yield of concentrated pods.
PATIO POTATOES - Plant 30th March to 28th July. Early maturing white, heavy cropper.
